Vernona (Nona) Pappas is the founder and principal designer of Vernona and Company, an interior design firm specializing in both residential and commercial projects. From beach houses in the Bahamas to coastal cottages in Nantucket, Nona’s design aesthetic is timeless, approachable, and expressive. She prides herself on collaborating with homeowners and architects, tailoring her work to reflect the individual needs of each client’s unique lifestyle.
After studying at Parsons School of Design, Nona honed her craft learning under the renowned Richard Keith Langham and then later working alongside the ever-inspiring Carolyn Malone. During that time, Nona’s work was featured in Veranda, House Beautiful, and Architectural Digest, among others. She finds inspiration everywhere – roaming antique shops, exploring outdoors, and traveling to new places. Nona lives in Atlanta with her husband and two energetic children.
